The annual ArchiTeam Awards are the highlight of the cooperative's calendar, celebrating the contributions of Australia's small and emerging architecture practices. 2025 marked a particularly significant edition with the launch of the inaugural Heritage Award, sponsored by the National Trust — this award, honouring projects that sensitively restore, adapt or celebrate architectural heritage, became the creative springboard for the campaign identity. With no fixed visual direction in the brief, we adopted a retro-futuristic approach — exploring the tension between old and new, blending architectural with typographic elements. The result is a campaign identity that is ornate and intriguing.
