STUDIO MEEP

Studio Meep is the architectural practice of Melbourne-based Mimi Westhorpe who possesses a sharp eye and a commitment to the unexpected. The name ‘Meep’ comes from a childhood nickname – which tells you something about how she works. Inspired by Italian architect and designer Carlo Scarpa, Mimi tends to take a single form or material and push it somewhere new, and that same monolithic thinking shaped the identity we built for her. The wordmark draws on her love of Italian design from the 1960s and 70s – while the palette of black, eucalyptus and lilac reflects her instinct to create architecture that belongs to its landscape.
